TIPS TO HELP YOU GROW YOUR BUSINESS AND SUPER-CHARGE YOUR SUCCESS!

Two Tricks That Can Produce Targeted Leads By Tonight

Want to know a trick to plucking out highly targeted leads for your business from the net, and fast? Try these two tricks and you may stumble upon some hot leads before the evening is done!

1. Scan the web for hot leads using Google Alerts – What kind of questions do your customers ask when they are ready to buy? Write them down. Have a brainstorming session. Next, set up a new Gmail account specifically for finding targeted leads. Then go to Google Alerts and create an alert for every question you have written down. Make variations of each question, and be sure to contain them in double quotes. For example, if you have an auto repair shop, create questions that people will ask about finding a repair shop. “Where can I find an auto repair shop in Jefferson City?” or “Are there any VW repair shops in Jefferson City?” would be two examples. Be creative. Think of every form of question that your prospects could be asking. Enter them in your alert system, and don’t stop until you have created at least 100 questions. The more time you spend on the questions, the greater chance you will start to receive Google Alerts when Google finds people posing these same questions on discussion boards and blogs. That’s where people post these types of questions, because they are looking for honest answers. Your alert will take you straight to the location of the question. Post a well thought-out response, and don’t be “salesy”. Just be genuine. Leave your contact information. The more unique your ability is to solve the problem posed, the higher the chance that you will be contacted by a potential new client for your business.

2. Use Omgili to scan for questions right now - go to www.omgili.com, the site that finds out what people are saying. Type in your question. Halfway down the page, you will see results that are posted on blogs and forums in the “Blog Posts” sction. Go straight to the posts that are the most recent. Older posts will probably be dead leads, because they may have already solved the problem or purchased what they are looking for. Mix and match your question. Try long questions, and cut them down to size until you get results. Don’t forget to embed your question in double quotes, or the search results will include sites with bits and pieces of your search phrase.

BONUS IDEA - Want to find people who are in the buying zone right now? Scan for “buying questions”. For example, what type of results do you think you will get if you type “where can I buy a Wii?”, or “where is the best place to purchase a laptop?”, or something similar? A buyer with money in-hand, that’s what! Get creative. Think like a buyer who is trying to get the best deal on the gadget or service that you have to offer.
