HOW TO SAVE A PILE OF MONEY ON AA BATTERIES
This is an amazing little money-saving tip that has been circulating via email lately. I am going to purchase a 6V battery and try this out to see if it really is true. Basically, the video presenter states that you can pop the top off of a 6V battery, and you will discover 32 standard AA batteries inside! I am guessing that these would have to be non-alkaline batteries (unless it is an alkaline 6V, which I have no idea if they even exist).
Have you or someone you know tried this? If so, please share your experience! At the rate my children run through AA batteries, this will become a standard practice in my home if it truly works. Next I will have to shop and compare the price of 32-pack battery cards versus one 6V lantern battery. This should be a fun little experiment. I will try this soon, and will report my results on the blog page!
Do you have any nifty little tricks or tips similar to what has been presented here? I’d love to hear about it! Sound off and share your tips, technical tricks, or money-saving ideas with us all!
